Hi-tech started importing RO based mineral water plants (domestic and commercial) from USA and selling, installing, maintaining in local market in 1995. This is how we take credit to be pioneer in introducing reverse osmosis based water purification systems in India. An ever-growing demand for pure drinking water, quality of our product and prompt after sales service took us to incorporate a private limited company. Thus, in 1999 Hi-tech Sweet Water Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was formed by a group of chemical, mechanical engineers and technicians with more than 10 years of combined experience in the design, consulting and manufacturing of water desalination and purification using reverse osmosis technology.

Hi-Tech is the only company in RO system to get "I.S.O.: 9001 - 2000" certification for its Quality Management System by TUV Rhienland - Germany. We are member of "Water QualityAssociation" of USA since 1995 and   "Water Works Association of India" since 1999. We are associated with USA and Taiwan based water treatment companies for procurement of components and design of commercial RO systems. Recently Our Company Hi-Tech Sweet Water Technologies Pvt. Ltd. got the precious Title of  "National Gold Star Award" and our young and dynamic Managing Director Mr. Vijay Shah is honored with the coveted "Jewel of India Award" by "International Business Council" - Delhi. During the glittering ceremony held at  Delhi on 10th April 2003. These prstigious awards were presented by former minister of state for External affairs "Mr. R.L. Bhatiya to Mr. VijayShah" for his contribution in Research & Development and Scientific Design of new and innovative health and hygiene related products. The Company deals into Commercial & Industrial RO Systems also along with Domestic System. The company manufactures packaged RO systems for ground, bore well, well, river and tap water applications in standard capacities of potable water production from 8 Liter per hour to 100000 Liter per hour, single, double, triple tube water filters with and without UV attachment, softener & water vending machines in various capacity.

Initially Hi-tech used to promote different brand name suppliers to gain market leadership. Now Hi-Tech has started backward integration. Most of the components are produced under Hi-Tech Brand name so that consumers don't have to compromise on quality. Following this strategy, Hi-Tech membranes was developed. These membranes are manufactured in USA under HI-TECH brand name.
